A wooden numbers puzzle for learning to recognise numbers along with their Māori names, designed in consultation with local Māori creatives.

Each number has a knob for small fingers to grip, and the cut-outs are slightly larger than the pieces so they lift in and out easily. The board is laser cut with smooth edges and rounded corners, so it's safe for little hands.

Builds hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills while learning to count. Ages two and up.

Wooden baseboard. Numbers 3D printed from bio-plastic made from cornstarch and tapioca starch.

Puzzle board measures 345mm x 240mm. Numbers are 63mm tall.

    Does this make a good gift?

    Calendars, diaries and stationery are some of the easiest gifts to get right. There's no sizing to worry about, and a year of New Zealand scenery or seasonal recipes suits almost anyone, from a colleague to family living overseas.

    They're also light and compact, which keeps postage down if you're sending one abroad, and they tuck easily into a parcel alongside something else.

    Is your homeware made in New Zealand?

    Some of it is, and the product page will tell you. Anything made here carries an NZ Made tag. Much of the range is designed in New Zealand and made offshore, and we'd rather be straight about the difference than blur the two.
