• 100% New Zealand merino at 18.9 micron
• 160gsm—a practical, lightweight weight
• Soft, warm and easy to layer

This Essence merino balances softness and warmth at a practical 160gsm. Fine 18.9 micron fibres feel comfortable against the skin, which makes it a natural base layer through the cooler months.

Essence specialises in comfortable everyday essentials designed to be worn close to the skin. From ultrafine merino thermals to soft sleepwear and layering pieces, the collection focuses on comfort, practicality and easy wearability. Thoughtfully designed for everyday living, Essence garments provide lightweight comfort through every season.

Merino wool is valued for its ability to naturally regulate temperature, helping keep you comfortable in both cool and warm conditions.

Its ultra-fine fibres are soft against the skin, while its breathable structure helps manage moisture and resist odour build-up. Because merino naturally stays fresher for longer, garments often need less washing than synthetic alternatives.

When cleaning is required, gentle care will help preserve the fibre's softness and performance.

Please refer to the care label attached to your garment. Wash in cool water using a wool-safe detergent, either by hand or on a gentle wool cycle. Reshape while damp and dry away from direct heat. Do not tumble dry unless stated on the garment label.
