Sheepskin Babycare - Sleep

NZ$169.00

A short, even wool sheepskin made to sit under the fitted sheet in baby's cot or bassinet, adding a soft, warm layer to their bed. Every rug is natural and unique.

Lay it flat on the mattress and put the fitted sheet over the top, so the sheepskin sits underneath. Always put baby to sleep on their back with their face clear of bedding.

It comes in a cotton duffel bag, so it's easy to take with you when you're staying away.

Natural lambskin. Duffel bag in organic cotton.

About 80cm by 55cm, with the wool shorn to an even 30mm. As a natural skin, each one varies slightly in shape and size.

It's a large part of why people buy natural fibre homeware. There's no sizing to get wrong, and a throw, duvet or set of tea towels suits a household rather than one person's taste, which takes most of the guesswork out of it.

Natural fibre pieces also tend to be used rather than put away. Wool and possum merino in particular improve with use and last for years, which counts for more than novelty at a wedding, a housewarming or a new baby.

Where a piece is made here it carries an NZ Made tag, which is worth knowing if you're sending something overseas.

We don't gift wrap at the moment, but we're happy to include a message from you. Add it in the notes when you order, along with who it's from. If a gift turns out not to be right, the recipient can note that on the returns form and we'll handle the exchange discreetly.
