Down holds air in thousands of tiny clusters, and that trapped air is what keeps you warm.

Caring for down is about protecting its loft. Most marks can be spot cleaned, and an occasional airing keeps it fresh between washes.

When a full wash is needed, take your time drying it so the clusters can open back out.

Please refer to the care label attached to your garment. Spot clean small marks with a damp cloth. For a full wash, close all zips, turn the garment inside out and machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with a mild detergent or down wash. Avoid fabric softener and bleach.

Tumble dry on low with two or three clean tennis balls to break up clumps and restore the loft, and make sure it's completely dry before storing. Do not iron or dry clean. If a feather pokes through, pull it back in from the inside rather than pulling it out.

We understand that sometimes a product isn't quite right.

• Return within six months of your order date.
• Items should come back As New, with tags and original packaging. Try something on as you would in a shop, but not worn beyond that.
• Return postage is at your own cost. We don't charge you postage to send a replacement out.
• Refunds go to your original payment method. The original delivery charge isn't included.
• For an exchange of the same value it's a straight swap. Where the values differ, we refund your card and recharge for the new item.
• Clearance items have a shorter window, and seconds and a few personal hygiene products can't be returned for change of mind. Where this applies, it's noted on the product page.
