Handcrafted in small batches in Golden Bay, this olive oil soap gives a gentle, moisturising clean for face, body and hair. Available in five blends, each finished with essential oils, clays or plant butters.

Lather between wet hands or on a cloth and use on face, body and hair. It also makes a good shaving soap. Olive oil draws in moisture, so keep the bar dry between uses. A free-draining soap dish, like our Block Dock, will help it last much longer.

All blends: saponified olive oil, certified organic coconut oil, certified organic palm oil. Lavender and cocoa butter: lavender essential oil, certified organic cocoa butter. Patchouli and almond: patchouli essential oil, sweet almond oil, white clay. Tea tree and green clay: tea tree essential oil, green clay. Manuka honey and calendula: manuka honey, certified organic calendula. Sweet orange and cedarwood: sweet orange essential oil, cedarwood essential oil, certified organic calendula.

About

Made with more than half moisturising olive oil, combined with certified organic coconut oil and certified organic, sustainably grown palm oil. Palm oil is sourced from Columbia where they don't cut down forests or destroy animals habitats to grow it. The handcrafted soap is finished with a range of therapeutic essential oils, clays and plant butters to delight your senses.

Without the plastic bottles of liquid soap, this is the best bar soap to gently cleanse and moisturise your whole body. Ideal for face and hair and you can shave with it too. So gentle, it won't irritate sensitive skin. May be beneficial for skin conditions like dermatitis, eczema or psoriasis.

Olive oil has hydrophilic properties which means it attracts and retains moisture to your skin. It attracts moisture to the bar as well so storing your soap in dry conditions and using a free draining soap dish will guarantee a longer life.

Lavender and Cocoa Butter
Ideal for normal to dry skin. Healing properties of pure, certified organic lavender essential oil combined with cocoa butter to soften and lubricate dry skin. Offers relief for dry, inflamed skin conditions.

Patchouli and Almond
Ideal for normal to dry skin. Provides the healing and antibacterial properties of patchouli essential oil combined with moisturising sweet almond oil and white clay. (A very small amount of clay that leaves no residue). Helps to soothe dry, cracked skin and heal skin damage.

Tea Tree and Green Clay
Ideal for normal to oily skin. The wonderful antiseptic properties of tea tree essential oil are combined with green clay, which acts as a deep toxin remover and helps repair tissue damage. (A very small amount of clay that leaves no residue). Ideal for acne prone skin or for those who want a good antibacterial clean.

Manuka Honey and Calendula
For all skin types, especially sensitive skins. Contains Manuka Honey for it’s moisturising, nourishing, healing, rejuvenating and protecting properties. Certified organic Calendula is wonderful for inflamed and itchy skin. Over all a wonderful gentle soap for sensitive and newborn skin – just simple, gentle and kind.

Sweet Orange and Cedarwood
All skin types. Breathe in the spicy aroma of Sweet Orange and Cedarwood, complimented with calendula for its moisturising and skin healing properties.

For health and hygiene reasons, we're unable to accept body care products back for change of mind. This applies to skincare, sunscreen, haircare, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, razors and similar items, whether or not they have been opened, and it's noted on the product page for every item it affects. If a body care item arrives faulty, damaged or isn't what you ordered, that's a different matter entirely. Contact us at returns@nznature.co.nz and we'll put it right. Non-hygiene items in this range, such as glasses cases, lens cloths and mirrors, follow our standard returns policy.

Many are, and the product page tells you which. Anything made here carries an 'NZ Made' tag — that includes our Merino from Weft and Essence Lingerie, our sheepskin slippers and boots from EB Tolley and Furmoo, and skincare from Nude Kiwi.

Some of our range is made offshore, and we're upfront about that. Silk and bamboo, for example, aren't fibres produced in New Zealand, so those garments are made overseas to our specification. We're a New Zealand company and we make here wherever we sensibly can.
