$14.95
Regular price  Sale price  $14.95

A coaster featuring New Zealand birds from the artwork of Nelson painter Kathryn Furniss. Sold individually, in three designs.

For mugs, glasses and the coffee table, and a lovely small gift that's easy to post overseas. Choose from three designs: Fly to Me, with a tūī in flight; Sacred, with a pair of kōtare, or kingfishers, in flight; and Tui, with a pair of tūī at the water's edge. Collect all three as a set, or pair them with the matching placemats.

Kathryn is a self-taught painter who draws on the Pacific landscape and native birds. Her acrylic and ink works layer abstract washes with fine detail, telling stories of protection, journeys and the connections between past and present.

Ceramic with a cork backing. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

108mm in diameter, a comfortable size for a mug or glass. Sold individually.

For friends far and near

A gift card is the easy answer when you'd like to give something good but aren't sure what they'd choose. They pick the fibre, the colour and the fit, whether that's a possum merino jumper, a silk layer or something for the home.

It arrives by email with a code to use at checkout, so it can reach someone down the road or on the other side of the world in the time it takes to send. No postage, no waiting, and no second-guessing sizes.

Gift cards are valid for five years, so there's no rush to spend it.

Can I send this as a gift?

We don't offer gift wrapping at the moment, but we're happy to include a message from you. Add it in the notes when you order, along with who it's from, and we'll pass it on with the parcel.

What if my order arrives damaged?

It happens rarely, but ceramics and glass can occasionally come to grief in transit. Let us know as soon as you can, emailing returns@nznature.co.nz with your order number and a photo, and we'll replace the item or refund you.

Can homeware be sent overseas?

Yes. A small number of items are restricted for international freight, and if anything in your order is affected we'll contact you before we send it.

Is your homeware made in New Zealand?

Some of it is, and the product page will tell you. Anything made here carries an NZ Made tag. Much of the range is designed in New Zealand and made offshore, and we'd rather be straight about the difference than blur the two.

Can I return a homeware item?

Yes, within six months of the order date, provided the item is unused and in its original, undamaged packaging. Fill in the returns form enclosed with your order and send it back with the item, packaged securely for the return journey. Return postage is at your own cost, but we don't charge you postage to send a replacement out. If you can't find your form or you're not sure whether something qualifies, email sales@nznature.co.nz with your order number.
