The chart below indicate what size garment you should order, depending on your body size. It does not represent the actual garment measurements. The fit of Merinomink garments will vary depending on the design; some are a slim fit shaped to the body, while some are a looser, straight fit that skims the body. These measurements are a general guide only.
For your bust measurement, measure around the widest part of your bust, with your arms by your side. For your waist measurement, measure around the smallest part of your waist, with your arms by your side. For your hip measurement, measure around the widest part of your hips, with your feet together.

Featuring a roll neck and knitted bat wing mid sleeves it’s an elegant, relaxed fit sweater that looks great with jeans or fitted trousers. Also, easy to layer over a fitted long sleeve top for greater warmth and versatility.
Knitted and hand finished in New Zealand. 40% Possum fur, 50% Merino and 10% Silk.
About Possum Merino
Once you’ve tried it nothing else will feel as warm and soft. Possum Merino is a wonderful blend of possum fur and superfine New Zealand Merino wool with a texture similar to cashmere - luxuriously soft, incredibly lightweight, exceptionally warm and easy to wear. It won’t pill, it won’t wrinkle, it’s anti-static and is an innovative and practical market solution to an environmental challenge facing New Zealand.
The Brushtail Possum fibre has two rare qualities
- No scales so the fibre itself resists pilling as there is no friction. Possum Merino garments stay looking new for ages. The more possum fibre in the blend the more the garments resist pilling!
- A hollow structure so the fibre has a very high warmth to weight ratio, air is trapped both within the fibre and in the fabric when blended with high crimp, fine Merino (just like insulation) so that is why Possum Merino garments are so warm yet not bulky. For its weight, Merino wool blended with Brushtail Possum fibre is twice as warm as any other wool blend in the world!
Garment Care
Hand wash with care in cold water using mild wool detergent. Squeeze do not rub. Rinse well in cold water. Normal spin.
Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Dry cleanable
