A new development in yarn has resulted in this very hard wearing sock. These gumboot socks are ideal for traditionally tough footwear like gumboots, work boots and waders, making them an ideal choice for days you need to cover a lot of distance or spend a lot of time on your feet.
Since wool fibres are naturally fantastic at absorbing moisture and insulating while wet, 100% wool woven padding is positioned in the areas your feet sweat the most - the toe box and the heel. Since these sections are woven with 100% wool and not blended materials, absorption is not hindered.
This sock design also limits foot slippage within the the boot, keeping blisters from forming and foot movement to a minimum. The result is a durable, hardwearing sock with enhanced dry times. They're ideal for sweaty feet!
Please Note: Testers stated the socks gained comfort after washing and wearing 1-2 times.
Made in New Zealand from 70% strong wool, 19% elastane and 11% nylon.

About Strong Wool
Strong wool has all the benefits of Merino wool but is not as fine, making it a bit "scratchier" against the skin. It is also very durable. The natural properties of wool make it a great insulator and wicks moisture away from your body. It is also odour resistant, another big advantage over synthetic fabrics. In very wet conditions, it will absorb up to a third of its weight in water without feeling clammy and retains some of its warmth even when very wet.

Please follow those on the packaging. Machine washable in warm water with a gentle detergent. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean.
