Eco-felt Shoulder Totes are made from 2 layers of felt to create a sturdy 6mm thickness, finished with top stitching. Eco-felt is made from recycled plastic bottles that are shredded then melted and spun into fibres.
The inside of each tote is a vibrant colour complimenting the screenprinted design on the outside.
Shoulder totes come flat with a swing tag. The inside has a magnetic dome closure and 2 free-hanging pockets. The swing tag has information on Jo Luping, the design and the manufacturing process of Eco-felt.
Size: 430mm / 16.9 inches wide x 390mm / 15.3 inches deep, bag opens with a flat base measuring 260mm x 180mm / 10.2 x 7 inches which makes it a sturdy free-standing bag with shoulder handles.

About Jo Luping
Jo Luping studied printmaking and photography at the Otago Fine Art School, then film-making and design at Wellington’s Victoria University. She established her studio in 1996 and became renowned for her ceramics, which capture New Zealand’s coastal landforms and indigenous flora and fauna. Jo is inspired by the Japanese aesthetic “wabi-sabi”. The characteristics of wabi-sabi aesthetic include simple elegance, intimacy, modesty and suggest a natural process.
