For our silk collection, we source premium silk from China, the historic home of silk production and still the world's leading producer of high-quality silk. Silk has been cultivated there for thousands of years, and the expertise developed over generations remains unmatched.

While New Zealand produces some of the world's finest natural fibres, our climate and scale are not suited to commercial silk production. By sourcing silk from its traditional place of origin and combining it with thoughtfully designed garments, we're able to offer the natural comfort, breathability and performance that have made silk one of the world's most treasured fibres for centuries.

Silk is a remarkably lightweight natural fibre that helps regulate temperature while remaining soft and smooth against the skin.

Its fine fibres allow the fabric to breathe while naturally insulating, making silk comfortable across changing seasons. The delicate nature of the fibre is part of what gives silk its luxurious feel and beautiful drape.

To preserve its softness and lustre, silk benefits from careful handling and gentle washing.

Please refer to the care label attached to your garment. Hand wash in cool water using a mild detergent suitable for silk. Avoid bleach, soaking and harsh agitation. Gently press out excess water and dry away from direct sunlight. Cool iron if required.

We offer secure online payments in NZD, AUD, GBP and USD. Your delivery address sets the currency you pay in and the taxes that apply.

• Orders are processed once payment has been received and confirmed.
• New Zealand prices include 15% GST.
• Australian prices include 10% GST.
• UK prices include VAT. On orders over £135 before VAT, VAT is paid on delivery instead, so we take it off at checkout.
• US prices include US tariffs and import taxes.
• Prices for other countries are in NZD and don't include New Zealand GST. Local duties, taxes or handling fees may apply and are payable by the recipient.

If you need to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to assist before dispatch. If you have any questions about taxes, duties or shipping to your country, our team is always happy to help.

We choose everything we sell carefully and stand behind it. If something arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, let us know as soon as you can. Email returns@nznature.co.nz with your order number, and a photo if you can.

If a piece isn't right for your home, we're happy to take it back.

• Within six months of the order date.
• Unused and in its original, undamaged packaging, with the returns form enclosed with your order.
• Return postage is at your own cost. We don't charge you postage to send a replacement out.
