Shipping & Local Taxes
  • We dispatch every order from New Zealand with tracked and insured delivery, with Royal Mail completing delivery within the UK.
  • UK VAT is included in our prices. On orders of £135 or less before VAT, we collect the VAT at checkout and there's nothing more to pay on delivery.
  • On orders over £135 before VAT, UK rules say VAT must be paid when your parcel arrives in the UK. We're unable to collect it at checkout or prepay it for you, so we take the VAT off your order at checkout to make sure you don't pay twice. The delivery provider will then collect the VAT, and may charge a handling fee, before delivering your parcel.
  • If you're buying several items, you may prefer to place separate orders of £135 or less before VAT.
  • Orders within New Zealand are sent by trusted courier services with full tracking and insurance included. We'll send tracking details as soon as your order leaves us, so you can keep an eye on its progress.
  • GST is included in all New Zealand prices. If your parcel is genuinely lost in transit, we'll replace or refund it.
Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

If your purchase isn't quite right, you can return it within six months for an exchange, replacement or refund. Return it unused and in its original, undamaged packaging, with the returns form enclosed with your order.

    For friends far and near

A gift card is the easy answer when you'd like to give something good but aren't sure what they'd choose. They pick the fibre, the colour and the fit, whether that's a possum merino jumper, a silk layer or something for the home.

It arrives by email with a code to use at checkout, so it can reach someone down the road or on the other side of the world in the time it takes to send. No postage, no waiting, and no second-guessing sizes.

Gift cards are valid for five years, so there's no rush to spend it.

A dark green fleece jacket is draped over a metal post in an open grassy field, with snow-capped mountains and a blue sky with clouds in the background.
A close-up of a dark blue and gray herringbone patterned throw blanket draped over the arm of a beige armchair in warm natural sunlight.

Does this make a good gift?

It's a large part of why people buy natural fibre homeware. There's no sizing to get wrong, and a throw, duvet or set of tea towels suits a household rather than one person's taste, which takes most of the guesswork out of it.

Natural fibre pieces also tend to be used rather than put away. Wool and possum merino in particular improve with use and last for years, which counts for more than novelty at a wedding, a housewarming or a new baby.

Where a piece is made here it carries an NZ Made tag, which is worth knowing if you're sending something overseas.

We don't gift wrap at the moment, but we're happy to include a message from you. Add it in the notes when you order, along with who it's from. If a gift turns out not to be right, the recipient can note that on the returns form and we'll handle the exchange discreetly.
How do I care for natural fibre homeware?

Wool, possum merino, silk, sheepskin, cotton and hemp all behave a little differently, so the care label on your piece is always the final word. A few principles hold across all of them.

Natural fibres need washing far less often than most people expect. Airing outdoors on a dry, breezy day in the shade will freshen most things and let the fibre recover.

When a wash is needed, use cool water and a gentle detergent, skip the fabric softener, and dry flat away from direct sunlight rather than tumble drying. Spot clean marks as they happen and you will wash far less.

Store clean and folded, in a breathable cotton bag rather than plastic. Moths are drawn to soiled wool rather than clean wool.

If you're unsure about a particular piece, the composition is listed on the product page, or email sales@nznature.co.nz and we'll check for you.
Is your homeware made in New Zealand?

Some of it is, and the product page will tell you. Anything made here carries an NZ Made tag. Much of the range is designed in New Zealand and made offshore, and we'd rather be straight about the difference than blur the two.
    Can homeware be sent overseas?

Yes. A small number of items are restricted for international freight, and if anything in your order is affected we'll contact you before we send it.
